Patran modelling a weld on to aparasollid complex structure 1

I have imported a parasolid from Pro Engineer, I want to model a weld on the adjacent plates and 3D mesh using PATRAN. I have used BOOLEAN operation in Patran. But it does operate well to some few plates and then just refuse to work to some other adjoining plates. WHAT IS THE BEST APPROACH.

make sure your solids and surfaces are mathematically correct - preferable surfaces 3-4 edges, solids with 5-6 faces.
