1)Select the channel that you wish to use
2)Make sure that the scope is set to calibrate
3) set the trigger to auto
4)set the selected channel to AC andhook up the scope across the load (output)
5)Hit auto set (this should show you the waveform)
6)remove the unwanted channel so that you can view only the waveform that is being analyzed
7)Set your vertical and horizontal axes so that you can observe at least 1 period and both (-)ve and (+)ve peaks

Gregory Jowi
ojgreg@sprint.ca

Humility is a virtue that is often mistaken for weakness.
Hi,
I like to make a little addition.
your voltage is 400 volts, that means approximately 1200 volts peak to peak. This voltage stress may damage the input
stage of your oscilloscope. (Check your scope's manual if available). So, you better use an attenuator (X10) probe. (Don't forget to calibrate the probe first.)
Regards,

Azmi Demirel
azzmi@elk.itu.edu.tr
<a href= am handsome but married :)

You may used a high voltage probe for equipment safety (least 400V probe)and scale down as required for a better reading.

Jayar
