~ was not sure if there was any merit to your statement or just frivolous jocularity~
It is my understanding the (US) MUTCD is the national standard (FHWA) for which all other STA's model their Manuals after. In order to qualify/receive federal funds STA's are required to develop their own and abide by it with regard to placement of signs, markings, devices, work zone activities and such.
I think it is enforceable by law in a courtroom where some entity was found negligent in the placement of such things and individuals were harmed.
As far as your driveway goes.......I guess if your ADT is 20,000 you may want to do some signage/pavt. markings.![[wink] [wink] [wink]](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif)
