Hello!, I have an Allen Bradley PLC:

SLC 500 with 1747-L524 CPU

and I'm trying to install an OPC Server: RSLinx OEM.

I have the following hardware configuration:

* 1761-NETAIC: protocol converter between RS232 (PC) and DataHighway (1747AIC)

* 1747-AIC: interface between DH (1761-NETAIC) and CPU PLC (SLC500)

I'm looking for documentation and examples of this configuration in Allen Bradley, but I don't found it. I need to read/write certains memory positions from/to PLC, throw OPC protocol.

I don't want to modify any in PLC program: is this possible? (I didn't write PLC program, so I don't want to touch it)

If someone did something like this, or know where to read, it would be very appreciated. I'm tired of reading a lot of AB manuals, without the exact example, or a complete description of software/hardware configuration. I just want to install an OPC server, connect cables, and start using OPC!!! (as Allen Bradley sales representant told me ;-) )

Best Regards.
