Greetings:

I have a file with a good model; however, the title blocks in the drafting are not what I would like to have. I have a separate file with a title block that I would like to have in the other file with the model. Is there a way to copy a title block from one file to the other file easily?

Thanks,

Brent

You could try cutting (copying) and pasting it.
I am not certain that will work, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Yes, we have drawings with older titleblocks (pre NX9?) that we have to update when we revise those drawings. If you open your template with the good titleblock, you can copy it, and paste it into the preexisting drawing sheet of your current model. You might have to use the origin tool to locate it properly in your drawing border.

You can also use the "import part" function, then you don't need to open it first to perform a copy paste.
Or you place it directly in your template files. Then it will be always available.

The copy and paste worked. Thanks to all for your replies. Much appreciated.
