NX Journal Collecting All Children weights into its sub-assy

Hi,
I need help on how NX Collecting All Children weights into its sub-assy with nx journal,
Any help or suggests are very appreciated.

There is an option in NX where it will update the weight information for each part when you save it. In the assembly navigator you can show this weight information.

If the above doesn't help you, we will need more information on what you are trying to accomplish.

It's okay when dealing with parts, when dealing with assy and sub-assy, it becomes zero weight.

You can include a weight column in a NX parts list.

It's okay when dealing with parts, when dealing with assy and sub-assy, it becomes zero weight.

In my experience, the subassembly shows zero mass in the part properties, but it shows the rolled up weights of the components in the assembly navigator.

Yes, you are correct. In this case, I add column of Weight( kg)first, Then update weight.

Next, I need to put the sub-assy weight value into Sub-assy drawing tittle block.
Please help me how to do.

Hi -
I had the exact same problem years back…
The rolled up assyweight can’t be extracted by NX open directly….

I added a sub in my current save actions utility (triggered by USER_FILE user exit)
In this sub I’m housekeeping an attribute, which hold the always up to date Sub-Assy weight….
Then straight forward to transfer to a title block…
