new wind load chapter

I heard a rumor that the wind load chapter of ASCE-7 will be re-written in the next code (ASCE7-11?) to resemble the old UBC method. I'm a young engineer and never used the UBC, but I've heard that it is much simpler to use than the current methods. Has anybody heard such a rumor?
