Hi all,
I've just graduated and received my first job. I have been tasked with checking some simple vessels in Compress and have run into a small issue. I've never used the program previously, and we do not have Compress Support, and the only individual who knew how to use the software is no longer with the company.
I have a seemingly simple issue, when I create a flange and specify all the information and dimensions it turns out correct, with the proper bolt diameter. However, when I go to add a bolted cover, without changing any of the other information the bolt diameter decreases, though the dimensions after checking remain the same. The bolts move inward and come in contact with the shell.
I feel as though I'm missing something very elementary, but have attempted to recreate the design a couple times and alter many of the specifications to create a different result.
Many thanks in advance!
