Need standard alphabets for highway signs for AutoCAD LT

Does anyone know a website where I can get an electronic version of the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) "Standard Alphabets for Traffic Control Devices". I want to copy the standard alphabet into an AutoCAD LT drawing so I don't have to draw the letters. I have already downloaded the FHWA's standard in .pdf format. Maybe someone knows a way to transfer the .pdf information into a .dwg AutoCAD LT drawing? Please advise.

anluan,
You should try your state highway department. In North Carolina, the NCDOT provides downloadable standard files that may include fonts. I know that line patterns are in there, and standard forms, etc.

You must have found what you're loooking for by now. If not go to Page Studio Graphics' website and you'll find "Highway Gothic" alphabets meeting the DOT specs.
