need advanced shear/bending program

I have tried several programs that calculate shear and bending moments, etc. and none of them have been advanced enough to handle any shape other than standard cylinders, rectangles, flanges, etc. I need one that will allow me a little more freedom. Anybody know of one? (I know, a nice FEA program would work wonders, right?!)

In the newer FE programsyou can find options for user defined shape. I think that is the best. (by the way, what shape is necessary for you? I will write! ;-) )<br>
