Multiple Light Sources don't show up?

I'm currently working on a project that requires me to make about 40 separate light sources (to analyze where shadows from my project fall). I made the first six, which, added with the defaults (Observer, Right Sh, and Left Sh), makes 9 in my list. When I added a tenth, it acted as though it were making the source, but was not added to the list. I have turned all light sources in my list OFF, but can still see the effect of this tenth light source that I added. This must be a bug in I-deas. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or knows of a way I might be able to fix this?
