Please provide information of the differences between a C Face, C-Flange, D-Flange motors. I know that these are drive side mounting verse foot mounting but I don't understand the differences. Any references or explanations are greatly appreciated.

TIA.

I was told that the NEMA MG-1 Standard had a good description of the differences. I spent a lot of time browsing the motor vendor site and they assume you are already educated on the differences.

No, they do not. All mfrs strive to educate their potential buyers. I guess your needs are not that urgent, otherwise you would have found the info that I could find in 10 seconds.

Rafiq,

When I grow up I want to be like you!

My internet is really slow tonight, it took me almost 30 seconds.
If you want to be like Rafiq start learning to learn. It is sometimes a part of growing up.

Oh TY Bill!. I really do not want to know my 'real' rank![tongue]

I would never catch up with many like you here! More I learn, I find out how little I know.

Go to Google or Bing and enter "NEMA motor frame chart". You will notice the various mounting faces and flanges immediately. Incidently, there also is a P flange.
