I am involved on a monitoring well installation project.

I noticed ASTM D5092-04 "Standard Practice for design and installation of ground water monitoring wells" doesn´t provide a granular bentonite seal mix design. (granular bentonite and water)

In my case, the bentonite seal is above water table, therefore according to ASTM D5092-04 I need to use GRANULAR bentonite as seal material.

I was wondering if anyone can provide a standard granular bentonite seal mix design.

Please let me know.
