Metal/Plastic Embossed Tagging Systems

I'm looking for a solution for tagging our wastewater piping systems which get broken down prior to shipping and then re-assembled in the field.

I envision using some sort of metallic or plastic embossed tags which can be mechanically attached using tie-wraps or similar. Each tag for mating piping runs may have the connection designation, process line description, fastener type & torque spec's. This type of embossing system could also be used to create valve tags etc.

Can anyone suggest a supplier of embosser machines for preferably plastic cards [metal dog tag style may also work]? This would ideally be for low to mid volume work and be easy to enter the line item information. US suppliers/distributors only.
