If anyone else has anyone from the forums that they think should be invited into the group, please advise. I have invited a rock specialist I know from South Africa - he goes by the handle of Rokdok and only discovered the site a couple of days ago when I told him about it. I am sure we will be learning lots more about rock bolts, shotcreting and the like.

Don't hesitate to recommend new members !

Just suggest your nomination by noting them in this thread (give their "handle" or if they aren't yet members of the Eng-Tips, you can give post their email address (the former is preferred)). I will wait a few days to see if anyone has objections (hopefully not) and then I will invite them. The idea is that this is our forum (as opposed to "my" forum) and if any of us see some members in the general site who appear suitable for us and we think that they will help make our group stronger - even with differing viewpoints, then we would invite them to participate with us.

SRE - I'm glad you are about!! Still I have a membership file that I've put together giving handle, location of member, name and email. I won't give out latter two with the list unless ok'd by the member to me in email. So, if you don't mind to be listed, let me know. I thought it a good idea for us to see where the members are from.
