How valid would you say the degree is in the automation/robotics industry? I've been torn between it and ME, or sticking to my career in IT ( I'm 25 now ).
Honestly I'd enjoy working in either design/manufacturing for an auto company, work with say, the welding robots, or with UAV's and such. Turbines and energy/power systems, and mining/petroleum also have had my interest for awhile.
Input? I'd rather not quit my job to go to school to find out I'm SOL job hunting ( I know Mechatronics isn't widely recognized yet ).
