I have been working in circuit electronics manufacturing for the last four years. Prior I worked as an electrician for seven. I thought electronics was the way for me now I see that I should have stayed with electrical. I have a BSEET and want to shift gears only the electrical market does not seem to be kind to entry-level engineers, who are not PE’s. I have a strong background working in power distribution and all levels of electrical installations. I know the code fairly well and am very good at looking up the things I don’t know off the top of my head. My degree although technical has to carry some weight. I want to be an electrical engineer with out having to go back to school for four more years. The question is can this be done?
