Hi I'm new here and was wondering if anyone could give me a point in the right direction. I want to learn more about the structural stability of tubing, like how holes in the tubing might affect things, or vibration of the tubing as the oil is pumped to the surface. Could anyone recommend a research paper or somewhere to start? The second thing is I was looking at monitoring of the internal of tubing with finger calipers, and I'm interested to learn more about how they actually put the caliper down the tubing from the surface; is it like a hatch? Is it sealed in? How do they get things down the tubing to monitor or clean the pipe?

Thanks for any advice or help on these things.
