Hello,
I am new to Mathcad. my intend is to make a Mathcad worksheet to design a simple beam, jib crane, etc. based on the Canadian steel code S16.
Would anybody have an example worksheet where I could understand easily how to program the steps and most importantly, how to deal with the load combinations.
Many thanks,
M

I have a Mathcad3.1 worksheet (converted form MCAD15) which I used to generate IBC load combinations.
All loads (wind, seismic, snow, etc.) are input in matrix form and load combinations (allowable stress and strength) are generated from them.
This may have not been the most economical way to perform this action, but it made sense to me.
Adjust to your loading combinations as needed.
