Thanks for the link IRstuff. I didn't come across that one.
Yea I think you are right. It is a hard one to get for a decent price. Must be due to its low use in universities.
I just thought I would ask in case any one of the members has a copy or knows where to get one for a good price.

You've probably alread thought of this, but you could print it out, punch it and put it in a notebook. If your home printer is to slow/expensive, maybe you can use your work printer (should not be too hard to justify as work related since it's an engineering book and you're an engineer).

Yes I have printed books before at the office without a problem. The last one I printed came out a little gringy if you know what I mean. Nothing beats having the real hardcopy with cover and all . I have quite the collection of engineering texts (both in office and my home office) now and only a few are "printed"
Likely I will have to do this anyhow. Unless I just shell out the 60 bucks. Not too bad....I have bought much more expensive books in the past for engineering. Or ask the dept. to reimburse me.
For some reason I thought that since the text is old I may be able to get it cheaper. Guess not.

Sorry, never been there or done that ;-( I merely followed Ron's suggestion on a whim.

Have you called Cornell's Print on Demand number? Just curious what they would charge.

Blurb's cost for a soft-cover 401+ page 6x9 trade paperback in black and white runs $14.95, which seems tolerably reasonable. Their 4-color prices, on the other hand...

No worries. I think I may try Blurb's. Very decent price and seems quality too!

I haven't tried Cornell's Print on Demand number. That may be more expansive, but qualitatively beneficial.
