Hi,

Could anyone recommend some introducing guide, examples calculations, bibliography or something relating with the dynamic piping analysis?

Thanks in advance.

Q = A*v ; where A is the area and v is the velocity. (m3/s)
W = Q*γ; where Q is the flow rate and γ is the specific weight.
(m3/s * N/ m3 = N/s)
M = Q*ρ; where Q is the flow rate, and ρ is the density.
( = kg/ m3 * m3/s = kg/s)

By 'dynamic analysis' I assume you mean considering the piping systems as a structure, requiring modal analysis, response spectra or time-history analysis.

There are many useful books, the most recent being Peng and Peng ... Pipe Stress Engineering.

Also there are countless valuable posts on the Caesar II Forum under Intergraph's website.
