I just came across this YouTube video explaining this effect. I learned something new and found it fascinating. You may too. It is 15 minutes long.

I saw that on a news feed or some other feed. My first response was 'Huh, that is curious '. I thought I was giving a racket a poor spin.

Someone posted a similar video somewhere else on this site last week; it had something to do with a video from the ISS, wherein a bolt that was removed would continue to spin in the microgravity and then the head and threads would flip positions and then a bit later flip positions again.
