Does anyone here have any experience in the design of interdigital capacitors?

Yep... I have built capactors up to 38GHz using interdigital designs.<br>

You can design you own for free using a download from Sonnet Software. They have a FREE EM Simulator (limit in problem size, but plenty big enough for ID Caps).<br>
