Install NX 8.5 64bit on W764bit machine with excel 32bit...what will i lose?

If I install NX 8.5 (64bit) on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine that has excel (32 bit) what functionality will I lose with NX? Will I still be able to open and translate files? Will I only lose the ability to use excel INSIDE NX?

I will be traveling and need to share my NX license on a laptop that has Microsoft Office 32 bit installed. I would prefer not to upgrade this laptop to Office 64 bit because that will render a number of other apps useless. So if I can get the basics out of Unigraphics while running a 32bit version of excel then I'll be fine. Any thought?

It shouldn't make any difference. Excel is not executed 'inside' NX but rather as a parallel application that only passes data back and forth.

Good Morning John, thanks for the reply. I will move forward and install NX8.5 on the laptop. After I posted this I dug thru some old emails...and I was told a while ago you need 64bit office/excel when installing on a 64 bit NX install IF you plan on using the prog die wizard (PDW)....If that's the case its not a problem anyways.

I was speaking of the use of the spreadsheet with things like Part Families and such.
