Inline measurement of glycol in water

Dear All

We need to measure the inline consentration of glycol in water. The pipe size is 6" and the avg consentration is 30%. The temperature is 45 deg. C and 90 deg. C.
We need a 4-20 mA output and 24 vdc power supply.

The density of glycol and water are quite different and so a simple process density measurement will give you very good concentration measurement. A good densitometer will even include the temperature density referral to find the density at a reference temp for the solution from which to calculate the concentration. Glycol water data is well publicised on the web so setting up the system is relatively easy.
For a 6" line your best bet is an insertion density meter which installs in the side of the pipe and measures at your process conditions and gives you the results as %concentration.
