Information about chelant resins

This is my problem:
I've a lot of water to be treated to decrease concentration of Pb++, Cu++ and other heavy metals.
I would use a chelant resin plant. This is the questions:
1) do you know any commercial product or society that build such a plant?
2) Any documentation about technical tips for dimensioning a resin chelant plant.

Are you looking for chelating resins, or ion exchange resins? EcoTec of Pickering Ontario Canada is one company to consider if you're interested- they do ion exchange systems for effluent and influent water treatment.

Chelating IX resins are commonly used in the metal finishing industry, both for metals recovery and effluent limits.

Sybron Chemicals is a major supplier of chelating resins and has a useful web site:
Rohm & Haas is another big supplier of chelating IX resins:

Dow is another major supplier of IX resins: I’m not sure they supply chelating resins, but the site gives info on ‘How to Design an IX (Ion Exchange) System.’

Other sites with IX equipment for metals removal include
(IX membranes)
(US Filters likes package deals; i.e., will regenerate the resin beds and recycle the metal).
 
Anderson Water Systems in Dundas, Ontario design/build good value ion exchange systems using all resin types.

Eichrom Technologies has a number of very selective Diphonix® Ion Exchange Resins. "In near neutral pH streams, Diphonix® resin is selective for the multivalent cations of various metals --including zinc, manganese, chromium, uranium, lead, cobalt, nickel and copper - over alkali cations such as sodium, calcium, and magnesium."
