Need to design a VERY LOW cost incinerator for burning oil impregnated rags and gloves in Venezuela. Though about building it with refractary bricks and adding the burners.
Any better ideas out there.

Incinerators to burn the kind of refuse you mention are sometimes built with two sections: a 30-35o inclined section for drying, and a horizontal burn-out section provided with an auxiliary burner. An after-burning pot and an ash catch pot sometimes must be added.

A complete welded elliptical cylinder made in two parts as above, complete with concrete refractory, grid, ash doors, air doors, and one burner can be purchased with a grid capacity of 150-200 kg/h/m2 of dry refuse.
For earth contaminated with oil, some kind of rotating kiln appears to be the most suitable. Feed can be done from a simple hill-like device or by the help of a feeding machine.

25362 sounds like the answer I`m looking for,but I`m in Venezuela and any better directions to how to build it or where to get the equipment to make it would greatly help me. Thanks

25362 Thank you very much for your information. Now I have a lot of information I need to digest. I found somebody that will sell me refractary concrete, do you now perchance know of any small incinerator design around. I think the cost would be lower if I do it locally and import the burners and fans.
once again thanks,
Muchas gracias por sus buenos deseos
