I am looking to fit ITBs to a 4 cylinder using the proprietary bodies that bolt to DCOE manifold. Because of a 'adventurous' camshaft (Schrick 316 deg) I am looking use a combination of TPS and MAP and to improve drivability I am considerng using a GM IAC valve. I am using Kalmaker/Delco.
I am planning to drill holes in each of the manifold runners down stream of the take off for the MAP sensor and plumb them to the IAC valve. This would minimise interference for the MAP as much as possible.
Comments on this are welcomed.
