I use excel and smath for most calculations... if I'm going to do the same calculation more than a couple of times... I'll write it up using smath, likely, or excel. This combined with a sheet or two of hand calcs that I scan. I print the output to a *.pdf file using DoroPDF writer (it's like a printer driver) and I can use the project number as the file... it asks if I want to overwrite the file or append it... I select the latter same with scanning... just add it to the file. I can also include tech documents to the file.

That was supposed to be added to Electronic Calculation Production... dunno what I did wrong.

I know this was supposed to be part of the other thread but I highly encourage physically printing out the result and putting it with the pen-and-paper sheet, in the project folder.
