Hello, I am conducting my course research, and in it I will compare experimental results of tests on sandwich beams with FEA performed at Abaqus. as I don't have much experience with the software, for learning I decided to follow the steps used in this thesis:
However, following the steps taken by the author in 2D analysis of the beam I find different results:
I used PET material as a core, but my results are much lower than the author's.
Could someone help me with the reason for this?
My attempt file is attached, with a 6.14 version and a student edition.
