How would I convert equations into Matlab?

Hi there, so as the title says im having some issues with learning Matlab, ive been given some equations to work out which is the written work ive wrote up, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with how id convert the equations into Matlab so that I could work them out in the programme. My course is going to be learning about Matlab soon so I want to have a headstart on knowing how the functions work etc. Any help would be appreciated.
