How are large diameter bearings assembled?

also how are the seals assembled into place? are they in one piece? (i doubt that though, as rubber could be easily damaged like that)

do they have the bearing cage (like the one below - zoom the picture for a better view) for example or is the ring itself made with distinct shape that it stabilizes the balls?

I believe it uses a split inner or outer ring.
