Hello, I received an eDrawing recently from a design house and when I opened it all the dimensions had this weird 'overline' on them, see uploaded tiff. Any idea what's causing that? I'm running 2011 SP4. Thanks!

I could be as much an export issue as it was an import issue. What is the native file format and what format did you import/open as?

It was saved as an slddrw and I opened it up with eDrawings like usual.

Does that happen with every slddrw opened in eDrawings, or just the one from the design house?

No, just the ones I get from them. I can work around it, just annoying.

They open up just fine in SW, no weird dims or text. And I just opened up one of my own that I had made a while back, see upload, and it gets messed up too. My concern is would others get the same when I send them an slddrw to open on their eDrawings viewer?? Thanks.

No problem here.

You've got a point there. I checked the tested drivers and they don't list any of the GeForce ones from NVIDIA. That would probably be the issue. Thanks for opening that up on your end. I will try the version of eDrawings I have at work which uses a different graphics card and see what happens. Cheers...

None of the GeForce or Radeon cards are approved for SW. Some people have no problems when using them, but others have nothing but problems.
