I am new with Sap 2000 and I am trying to find the reactions of loadins on a 7 span beam. So far I have applied a uniform gravity load on a beam and have verified that the results are correct with the Beam Diagrams.

However, when I applied a horizontal Load in the Y direction, when I obtain my results I notice that the horizontal reactions for each span is the same, which I don't think is correct.

Should I be doing this beam (which has vertical load, horiztonal loading, and moment) in "Space Frame" or "Plane Frame"?

Also, I appreciate if you guys can help me out in figuereing out why my loading (V3) are are the same for each span?

THANKS
