we have Emerson Bettis G series spring return pneumatic valve
as you know it comes with breather in Piston Cylinder side ;; i have problem when trying to open valve the breather still passing air without stop and then with a random time stop and valve open ( last time take 2 hours then open)
this make problem for me ..because i need to open valve immediately but this doesn't happen

could you please tell me what is this breather stands for? how it is work ? what is the problem in this valve ?

Have you looked at the data sheet for this valve to try and understand how it works?. If you have, and you still do not understand, then post a link to the data sheet so we do not have to do your homework.

Why not ask an Emerson applications engineer? That's what they get paid to answer.
