Help Required on AISC Steel Shapes.

Can Anyone help me getting AISC Steel Shapes Sectional Properties on the Web? I was told there are some sites from which one could download the Properties.

I know a European firm which manufactures US steel profiles as well. From their site you can download their database program. The firms name is ProfilArbed and their site should be something like

http://www.europrofil.lu

Or simply search for profilArbed or Arbed on the web.

This site seems to offer the first part of the AISC Manual of Steel Construction as part of a course. Has the W shapes

I'm the developer of an application called STEELS Plus (after STEEL SHAPES PLUS). Check my site where you can d/l the freeware version. The freeware uses outdated ASTM A6 information and only basic properties but many people have found it useful.

It's illegal to distribute AISC's shape database without permission from them so be careful there

the shareware version has all shapes in both US and SI units (expect double channels but those will be added soon)
