Does anyone have general design rules for the hole tolerances used when pressing in core plugs. All previuos wells of investagation have proven dry.
The company where I work, want to use them on a large special purpose bearing housings to remove costs. We cannot find anybody (including the core plug manufacturers!) who will tell us what the necesassy fit ( and finish) is to be on the hole for the core plug to be pressed into. Any guidelines as to the pressure resisted would be very helpful also.
