Heating a vertical load in a horizontal furnace

I have a load in a horizontal furnace, i heed to turn the load that it is vertical, it is some wafers in a test in the lab, does any body know what effect this will have on heating the wafers up uniformily?
Is there a design of element / baffels i could use?
