Hello everyone,
I come to you for a little bit of advice on what exactly should I focus my search on regarding a simulation I have to make.
Attached here is an image that illustrates the part I work with. It is a half-sphere part but I cut it in a 20 deg sector for faster simulation time.
Basically I have a heat exchange. On one side, I have hot gas at a temperature T1 and on the other side I have an enclosed volume, through which helium flows.
As seen on the image the part is also in contact with other parts.
I want to see, over the course of several minutes, knowing flow parameters on the Helium side as well as the ones on the gas side. How can I apply loads in the most realistic way possible. With that in mind, first I made a simulation with applied temperature on surfaces that touch the gas. and convection to medium on the helium side. There were more options for convection but none allowed me to select surfaces.
What I want to do now is maybe apply some kind of convection on both sides. One that will heat the part from the hot air and one on the helium side which will receive the heat through the part. And for surfaces in contact with other metal parts, apply conduction.

I am new to this but really like it and want to get good at it.
