Has anyone heard of AML?

I commonly use something called AML, which stands for %Angled Minus %Loaded (percent of laminae @ angle to load minus %laminae in line with load), at my workplace. A few days ago, a co-worker needed to know who was the the first person/company to use it. I did some research and I'm beginning to think it was my own invention, because no one else seems to know what it is.

The use of "AML" as a layup parameter to define composite allowables goes back at least to the mid-80s in Boeing Commercial, and has been used at Boeing Philly, Bell Helicopter and other places. I'm not sure exactly when it was invented and who can be blamed for it.
