I am looking to replace Cable Guardrail Along a local roadway that is adjacent to the bridge with Aluminum Rail as this state does not accept Cable Guardrail as acceptable.

We do not plan to replace miles and miles of this so we are looking for a viable solution to transition the cable rail to the aluminum rail?

If anyone has ever run into this before, suggestions would be grateful.
Thanks

I assume that you want to use aluminum because of its corrosion resistance. No paint would be required. Aluminum rail is readily available and can be bent to fit well. Mounting brackets with hardware will also be needed. It may cost more than steel however (one-time, up front). The posts may need to be improved too - who wants to put a nice rail on an ugly post...
Check with <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> to see if they have a "line" of aluminum rails. Be sure to pick a rail that meets hiway standards for collision loads.
