Hi all,
I have a hollow box made out of 3D printing material ((PLA filament for MakerBot) that consists of a top and a bottom piece. When fitted together, I will evacuate as much air out of the box as I can with a Varian SD-90 Franklin Electric Model 1091045401 vacuum pump. The top and bottom piece will slide together just fine, but I need some sealant that is both vacuum proof and water proof, as the box will sometimes be submerged in a bin full of water. The box is part of physics demos. Can anyone recommend some kind of sealant that would be good for this application? It is greatly appreciated.
