I have an assembly that needs to be vibration tested, consisting of small plastic parts clipped into a stamped steel ring. I need to glue the parts together to prevent relative motion during the test. The plastic parts are made from Vyncolit X 689. "VYNCOLIT X689 is a Glass beads & short fiber molding compound based on Phenolic Novolac (TS) polymer."
Any suggestions on what I can use that will bond to both the plastic and steel, and also be strong enough to withstand vibration? I just need something for testing, not a long term production solution.
