In the Dallas Texas area, what is the best method of repair, drilled piers, concrete piles or steel piles ?

I would say that anywhere drilled piers are expected to result in sound construction they are better, because the lesser impact forces and deformations in the area. There may be however instances where the soil is hard and steel piles may be the preferred choice; and one may elect prestressed concrete piles if it is foreseen that the hammering of them unto the soil may result in some longlasting compaction of the soil.

Every area is different -

I'm in San Antonio, and have DFW design and forensic experience. Are you looking at underpinning an existing structure? What is the structure? Soil conditions? (I'm familiar with your geology and geotechnical conditions.)

Is the project in litigation, or has the owner asked you to help them fix their property?
