Foundation Loads

I'm always asked for foundation loads due to wind a seismic in the pressure vessels we design, I always get the highest values for shear and moment at 0mm elevation from the tables of seismic/wind in the compress calculations report and use them as the max foundation loads, is this assumption ok? what is the correct procedure of getting this values for all the different supports allowable (skirt/saddles/legs/lugs).
