Can anyone tell me if there are special design codes and considerations when dealing with the food industry( such as meat processing plants)? If so, what are they? Thanks!

I know people who've worked on building such projects and they emphasized that everything had to be stainless steel and very, very clean.

I bet the USDA has info that would point toward the appropriate ASTM standards, etc.
