fillet problem

i need to create a fillet, in a small part of an edge. but when i select the edge, mechanical selects all the edge. how can i solve this problem.

Dear hefestos,
There is no direct solution for your problem.
you can split the part using a split line crosses the edge at the position you want to fillet. then fillet the edge at the desired side and at last join two splited parts using the AMCOMBINE COMMAND.
