Dear engineers
I am interested in having details about the design aspects for the manufacture of FRP components. I request you to let me know what are the design data hand books available for the design and development of the above components.

Thanking you

yours faithfully

I know of several books for the design and fabrication of composite parts. SOme are tailored towards deisgn and some are tailored towards production. Each industry has their own standards and tips/tricks for parts.

Some of the books I have used:

Fiber-Reinforced Composites by Mallick
Fundamentals of Composite Manufacturing by Strong
Composite Materials Handbook by Schwartz
Design and Manufacture of Composite Structures by Eckhold
Prinicples of Composite Material Mechanics by Gibson

I also used publications and articles from Dow Chemical, Ashland Chemical and Reichhold.

If you need additional information or have questions, let me know.

Try SAMPE in Covina California.

Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering.

They'll have all the referances you need. Every type of composite from Metal Matrix / SiC to bulk Fiberglas.

Engineering and Manufacturing too.

Try also SME - they have a composites group too - great in Manuf technology.
