Hi, I need to find the farfield radius of a lens antenna. Can someone please tell me what is the maximum dimension of a lens antenna? Do I need to take into account the lens maximum dimension or just the planar antenna maximum dimension. Please help. Thank you.

Isn't the 'farfield' (by definition) the place where the radius may be considered to be infinite (a planar wavefront) ?

Small encore: Visit
for "This value for W, the Gaussian beam
radius should be near the value 0.89R the secondary mirror radius and also the farfield beam radius value of the beam radius at the focal plane of the telescope focal plane"

There appear to be good references posted on web. Their file extention is often *.ps that stands for the postcript file needing a ps viewer to see it.
