Face Flat Pattern 1

The attached image shows a part that I'm working on. The shop has requested that I print out a flat pattern of the outer face showing the cutouts. Is there any way to select that face and create a flat sketch?

To be able to use the Flatten function, the part needs to be a Sheet Metal part.

Is the part being made from tube or solid bar as shown, or from Sheet Metal?

It's being made from a rolled plate.

If you add the axial gap and convert the part to SM, you will be able to flatten it.
